Interests in tobacco cessation education and training of health professionals. She has co-coordinated, with other Tobacco Center members (Drs. Corelli and Hudmon), a comprehensive tobacco cessation training program, Rx for Change: Clinician-Assisted Tobacco Cessation, for health professional students and practitioners. She practices at the UCSF adult diabetes and primary care clinics, where she provides smoking cessation counseling. She also is a member of the UCSF Tobacco Education Center, where she provides medication therapy information and advice during their group cessation classes.
